Infinity ceiling in a basement home cinema

Zebra Home Cinema created this stunning basement cinema room in a private residence in the Cotswolds. One of the main points of the brief was that the client wanted a clean finish with no visible boxes, speakers etc in the floor space.

In order to fulfil this, Zebra created additional space behind the walls, meaning that each of the bespoke upholstered wall panels is actually a door. Hidden behind these are the various pieces of technical equipment required for the room, the client’s collection of DVDs, Blue-Rays and other media, as well as general storage.

The lack of floor mounted speakers meant that creative solutions were required for positioning, and so every speaker is mounted in either the walls or ceiling, or behind the screen.
